Raymond Crown serves as a Board Member for both the South African Broadband Education Networks and the Tertiary Education and Research Network of South Africa. Raymond holds the position of ICT Director at the University of the Western Cape and is the Founding Principal of X4O (Pty) Ltd. Past roles include Assessor for the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) at GetSmarter, IT Operations Manager at Kusaga Taka, and Managing Director at SAiS South Africa (Pty) Ltd. Raymond's extensive experience also includes leadership positions at Oracle and South African Breweries. Academic qualifications comprise an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Cape Town, and various certifications in project management and strategy.
