Karl Pichler is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in both academia and corporate leadership. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Sourceability since January 2023 and holding the position of Prassel Professor for Professional Practice in Finance at Trinity University since January 2018, Karl has a strong educational background including a Master of Science in Finance & Economics from the University of Bern. Previously, Karl held significant roles at Rackspace, including Chief Financial Officer, where responsibilities encompassed financial management, strategy development, and stakeholder relations. Additional experience includes venture finance at Scaleworks and consulting at Stern Stewart & Co., focusing on shareholder value and financial frameworks. Karl has contributed to the academic field as a Visiting Faculty member at the University of Bern and has a rich history in financial management, operational finance, and corporate governance.
