Des McGroarty is an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor at Source Civil Ltd, with a career spanning over a decade in quantity surveying and project management. Since September 2020, Des has been with Source Civil Ltd, following a role as a Quantity Surveyor at Gibbons Building & Civil Engineering from June 2015 to September 2020. Previous experience includes positions at KC Civil Engineering both as a Quantity Surveyor/Site Manager and Junior Site Manager, as well as a Quantity Surveyor at Sepam, where involvement included the electrical and instrument installation for the SATORP refinery project in Jubail. Des holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, and a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying and Project Management from the Limerick Institute of Technology.
