Katie Drake currently holds the position of Deputy Executive Director - Capital Delivery Transformation at Sound Transit, a role commenced in October 2024. Prior to this, Katie served as Director of Opportunity & Risk Management at MATT Construction from October 2022 to September 2024, and held the title of Vice President at Legends while providing program and project management services for the Rams Stadium project in Inglewood, CA, from September 2016 to May 2022. Earlier experience includes a position as Risk Manager at AECOM, where responsibilities included managing risk for the NASA Ames Research Center IDIQ contract, as well as roles with LACCD's Bond Program and URS Corporation. Additional experience includes a senior business development role at Parsons and project management responsibilities for Big Sunday. Katie holds a BA in Business Administration with a marketing and law emphasis from Loyola Marymount University, earned from 2000 to 2004.
