Bruce Harrell is currently a Board Member at Sound Transit. Bruce has over 20 years of experience in the architectural field, including project management, architectural design leadership, marketing, contract negotiations, and client relationships. In addition, Bruce is a sustainability lead and was part of the technical quality review team for their previous firm, Weinstein A|U Architects + Urban Designers LLC. Bruce was also the first at their firm to obtain LEED Accreditation and subsequently mentored 85% of staff to attain LEED Accreditation. Some of Bruce's notable projects include Kenmore City Hall, Seattle Fire Station 6, Seattle Emergency Operations Center, 911 Call center, Fire Station 10, Seattle Fire Department HQ tower study, Boys & Girls Clubs, Federal Way Teen Center, and Woodland Park Zoo - West Entry.
Bruce Harrell has a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology from the same school. Bruce also has a certificate in Commercial Real Estate Development from the University of Washington.
