Angela Emerson is an experienced interpreter and project team lead with a diverse background in various interpreting roles spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Project Team Lead at Sorenson Communications since May 2020, Angela oversees and supports over 50 Video Interpreters. Previous positions include a Video Remote Interpreter at AMN Healthcare and freelance medical interpreting since 1996. Angela has also held roles with notable organizations such as Martti, LanguageLine Solutions, California State University, Northridge, and Arizona State University, providing ASL interpretation in both educational and medical settings. Angela holds an AAS in Educational Interpretation from the Rochester Institute of Technology, earned between 1994 and 1996.
