Arjan van Engelen is a Senior Acoustic Consultant at Sorama since January 2024, previously serving as NVH Attribute Owner at Punch Powertrain, where responsibilities included overseeing NVH aspects during the development of hybrid dual clutch transmissions. Arjan gained extensive experience as a Project Engineer NVH at FEV GmbH, managing various projects, programming Matlab-based NVH software, and providing technical expertise. Earlier roles included NVH Specialist at VDL Bus & Coach, focusing on noise reduction technologies, and Product Engineer Innovations at Bosch Transmission Technology, where research on CVT-transmission pushbelts was conducted. Educational qualifications include an MSc and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. Additional experience includes a graduate project on RF MEMS switch dynamics and a traineeship involving noise and vibration surveys at the University of Canterbury.
