Michel Poujol has extensive experience in data science, operations research, and scientific computing, currently serving as the CTO of Sopra Steria's AI Program and as a Senior Data Scientist for the Confiance.ai programme. At Sopra Steria since 2001, Michel Poujol has co-led AI initiatives within the Group Digital Transformation Office and supported various Data Science projects across sectors such as industry, transportation, defense, and energy. Previous roles include managing the scientific community and contributing as a project manager and scientific expert in operations research and simulation. Michel Poujol began a career as an Operations Research Analyst in naval systems and held engineering and research positions in seismic surveying and earthquake detection. Michel Poujol holds a Mastère in Computer Science from ISAE-SUPAERO and a Master of Science in Geophysics from Oregon State University.
