Maren Lootz Aarthun is a seasoned professional in the fields of engineering and consulting, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Sopra Steria, Norway's leading consulting company in digitalization, since January 2025. Previous experience includes roles as Project/Design Leader at Prosjektil, and R&D Engineer with a focus on Recirculating Aquaculture Systems at AKVA group ASA, where Maren managed multiple sustainable R&D projects. Educational qualifications encompass a Master of Science in Fisheries and Aquaculture Science from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, along with various specialized courses in aquaculture and a background in biomedical studies. Maren has also accumulated diverse experience from internships and summer positions, reinforcing expertise in research, project management, and client engagement within the aquaculture sector.
