Ben Small

Vice President - Global Theater Sales Operations at Sophos

Ben Small has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ben began their career as a Financial Advisor at MassMutual, where they built a book of business and facilitated a strategic alliance between People's Credit Union and Legacy Financial Group. Ben then worked at Lucier CPA, Inc as the Director/On-Site Operations, providing accounting services, bookkeeping, marketing consultation, and coordinating firm events.

Ben then joined Strategic Products and Services as a Financial Analyst, where they were responsible for forecasting sales and managed service revenue and building and maintaining financial engineering for the company's private cloud solution. Ben later became a Solution Manager for Cloud and Managed Service, evangelizing the private cloud service and creating client proposals and marketing materials.

After that, Ben worked at Oracle as an Enterprise Sales Executive, cultivating their territory and positioning Oracle solutions at Fortune 500 organizations. Ben then joined Avaya as the Practice Lead for Customer Success, where they oversaw the establishment and development of the Customer Success practice and implemented the Customer Success Platform. Ben later became the Sr. Director/Chief of Staff for Field Operations, leading field and revenue operations and crafting a holistic go-to-market strategy.

Following this, Ben worked at NWN Corporation as the Vice President of Recurring Revenue, managing a significant recurring revenue stream and leading a team focused on renewal and customer retention. Currently, they are working at Sophos as the Vice President of Global Theater Sales Operations.

Ben Small obtained a BS degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Rhode Island between the years 2003 and 2006. Ben also holds additional certifications in ITIL Intermediate - Service Strategy and ITIL v3 Foundation from Global Knowledge.
