Tommaso Coletta is a mathematician and bioinformatician currently employed at SOPHiA GENETICS since November 2018. Previously, Tommaso worked as a quantitative analyst at Cargill from April to October 2018 and served as a postdoctoral researcher at HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale from November 2014 to March 2018. Tommaso's research interests focus on the dynamics and stability of the power transmission grid, as well as the green energy transition and the integration of renewable energy sources. Tommaso holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in theoretical physics with a specialization in condensed matter from EPFL, where Tommaso studied from 2009 to 2013, and also earned a Master's degree in physics from the same institution, completing the program in 2009. Prior to the PhD, Tommaso was a postdoc at EPFL from October 2013 to October 2014.
