Murat Toral currently serves as the Senior Manager of Finance & Operations Transformation at SOPHiA GENETICS since January 2022, following a role as Finance Projects Manager. Prior experience includes positions at Philip Morris International as an Auditor from September 2019 to December 2021, and a tenure at EY from October 2015 to August 2019, where Murat held various roles including Assistant Manager Audit, Senior Auditor, and Assistant Auditor. Early career experience includes an Accounting Intern role at Petroleum Software Ltd from June 2010 to March 2015, and a Research and Teaching Assistant position at UNIL - Université de Lausanne from June 2014 to January 2015. Additionally, Murat contributed as an Anti-Illicit Trade Research Associate at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) from April 2013 to August 2013. Murat Toral holds a Master’s degree in Accounting, Control and Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, both from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne.
