Stuart La Brooy has significant experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, currently serving as Senior Global Category Manager for Professional Services and HR Procurement at Sony Pictures Entertainment since March 2015, overseeing a $300M+ annual spend. Notable achievements include leading a successful strategic sourcing initiative that generated 40% savings in recruitment services across APAC and EMEA and managing procurement efforts in large-scale projects with global implications. Previous roles include positions in Queensland government procurement, where Stuart managed contracts with multi-million dollar budgets and developed procurement performance measurement systems, as well as academic roles at Queensland University of Technology and volunteering with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
