Steve Jacobson is an experienced entertainment professional currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Production at Sony Pictures Entertainment since October 2022. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Head of Production and Line Producer at Silvergate Media from July 2018 to October 2022. Steve's career in production began at Titmouse, where responsibilities included Associate Producer and Production Manager for various animated series such as "The Venture Bros." and "Metalocalypse" from January 2011 to July 2018. Earlier experience includes roles as a Post Production Assistant at CBS Television Studios for "The Defenders" and at RDF USA on reality shows like "Hardcore Pawn." Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Ithaca College and attended the University of Iowa.
