Amanda Richards is currently the VP of Talent and Casting at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Amanda has been with Sony since 2013, starting as an Executive Casting Assistant. Amanda has worked their way up through the ranks, becoming a Manager, Director, and finally VP.

In their current role, Amanda is responsible for overseeing all talent and casting for Sony Pictures Entertainment. This includes working with casting directors, producers, production offices, writers offices, and other departments to ensure that the best talent is being considered for all projects. Amanda also oversees the intern program for the department, teaching classes and workshops, and maintaining all departmental databases and lists. In addition, they are responsible for reconciling and processing monthly expense reports, managing travel authorizations for executives, and maintaining casting contact lists.
