Christian Brunner has gained extensive work experience in the field of Research and Development (R&D) and software development. Christian began their career in 2003 at Phonak, where they served as a Software Developer and later as a Projektleader Software Development, leading multiple software projects and developing PC software in C#. In 2007, they became a Manager of Hearing Instrument Provider at Phonak, and from 2013 to 2013, they held the position of Senior Manager of Hearing Instrument Provider.
In 2014, Christian Brunner joined Sonova Group, where they have held various roles. Christian started as the Director of Hearing Instrument Software and later became the Director Area Lead R&D. Christian then served as the Senior Director of Hearing Device Solution Scape before taking on the role of Senior Director of R&D Reliability. Their most recent position at Sonova Group is the VP of R&D Solution and Process.
Christian Brunner attended HSR Rapperswil from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a degree in Ingenieur HTL with a focus on Elektrotechnik und Elektronik. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1995, they attended BMS, a Technische Berufsmittelschule, but did not earn a specific degree from there.
