Robin Joensuu has extensive experience in localization, translation, and linguistic consultancy. Currently employed at Sonos, Inc. since October 2017, Robin specializes in revising translated content, ensuring brand voice consistency, coordinating feedback to translation teams, and managing linguistic reference materials. Additionally, Robin has been self-employed as a translator since June 2011, focusing on English and German to Swedish translations in IT, telecommunications, and marketing. Previous experience includes serving as an Onsite External Linguist for a leading American search engine company. Robin holds a Master of Arts in Literature, Culture, and Media, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Lund University. Further education includes language studies in German, achieving CEFR level C1.
