Allen Schober is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. As the Director of Software at Sonos, Inc. since February 2023, Allen leads a high-performing team focused on creating user-facing experiences for innovative products across various platforms. Previously, Allen served as Co-Founder and Head of Software at Orro, where the team developed an award-winning home lighting and automation system. Allen also held engineering roles at Samba TV, Stitcher, LifeSize Communications, and NASA, gaining expertise in mobile engineering, hardware testing, and research in wireless networking. Allen earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
