Tamika Balken is a seasoned professional in energy management, currently serving as Product Manager for Virtual Power Plant and Manager of Energy & Flexibility Trading at sonnen GmbH since May 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager in Energy Economics and a Student Internship at Energievision Franken GmbH, as well as internships at Fraunhofer IISB and Siemens. Tamika Balken holds a Master of Science in Energy Technology from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, along with a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution, and completed a Master's thesis at the Technical University of Munich focused on modeling the German electricity system.
