Paolo Cotzia serves as the Medical Director of Molecular Pathology and the Head of Molecular Excellence at Sonic Healthcare USA, having previously held roles as the Medical Director and Laboratory Director at Sonic Reference Laboratory. Prior experience includes positions as Assistant Professor of Pathology and Assistant Director of the Center for Biospecimen Research and Development at NYU Langone Health, as well as M.D. Fellowships in Molecular Pathology and Oncologic Surgical Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Early career development involved serving as Chief Resident in Pathology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and completing M.D. residencies and research fellowships. Paolo Cotzia obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Università degli Studi di Milano.
