Robert Hicks has extensive work experience in the construction and project management industry. Robert is currently the Facilities Project Director at Sonic Automotive since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Operations at DSP Builders, Inc from 2016 to 2022. Robert also served as the Senior Construction Manager at KEO International Consultants from 2014 to 2016, overseeing the construction of a FIFA Stadium. Before that, Hicks was the Director and Program Manager at Rosser International, Inc, leading various design and construction projects in Qatar and Puerto Rico. Robert also held the position of Senior Vice President at McDonald Construction Services Inc from 2006 to 2008, managing operations for large-scale industrial facilities. Earlier in their career, Hicks served in the US Army as a Combat Medic in the 82nd Airborne Division from 1986 to 1989.
Robert Hicks earned a Bachelor's degree in the field of study of M E Rinker School of Building Construction from the University of Florida between 1989 and 1994. Prior to that, in 1986, they obtained a National Reg EMT certification in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Fayetteville Technical Community College.
