Tiago Freitas is a Machine Learning R&D specialist currently working at sonible, focusing on intelligent AI-powered audio plugins since January 2023. As a freelancer since February 2021, Tiago has been involved in various Machine Learning projects in audio and computer vision. Previously, Tiago contributed to the development of intelligent audio plugins at STL Tones and worked on mobility and computer vision data science projects at CEiiA. Experience includes roles at NILG.AI and Adapttech, where Tiago was part of the biomedical team, specializing in computer vision, 3D reconstruction, and augmented reality. Tiago's educational background includes a Master's degree in Bioengineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, where research focused on 3D face recognition.
