Juan Pablo Estavillo is currently an Azure Machine Learning professional at Sonata Software since October 2023. Previously, between August 2020 and June 2023, Juan Pablo served as an Algorithmic Trading Developer and Data Scientist at Making Sense LLC, where five predictive models were developed, and financial products were created in collaboration with executive leadership. Earlier experience includes a Data Science trainee role at Digitt, which focuses on helping Latin American borrowers, and a part-time quantitative consulting position at WorldQuant, where Juan Pablo achieved first place in the Latin America World Quant Alpha Championship. An extensive background in algorithmic trading was established through roles at Quant Dynamics and ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara, where a consistently profitable trading strategy was developed. Juan Pablo holds a degree in Financial Engineering from ITESO, alongside a specialization in Machine Learning for Trading from the New York Institute of Finance.
