Junko Hirata is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in the fashion industry. Since October 2019, Junko has served as the Director of Design at Something Navy. Prior to this role, Junko worked as a Design Consultant at Ulla Johnson Inc from January 2018 to October 2019 and at TANYA TAYLOR from April 2017 to October 2019. Junko's previous experience includes being the Design Director at Thakoon from July 2014 to April 2017 and a Senior Designer at EDUN (LVMH) from May 2010 to June 2014. Junko founded and held the position of Creative Director at ideeen from January 2007 to May 2010. Earlier in Junko's career, experience includes roles in design development at Helmut Lang, as an Associate Designer at Yigal Azrouel, and as an Assistant Designer at Catherine Malandrino.
