Muhammad Qasim is a highly experienced software developer and data scientist with a diverse background in robotics, MLOps, data engineering, and optimization. Currently, Muhammad serves as a Software Developer in Robotics at Solwr since February 2024 and as a Scientific Software Engineer at Axbit AS since August 2021, where responsibilities include advanced data science and software engineering tasks. Prior roles include Senior Data Scientist at PatoGen AS, where Muhammad focused on enhancing product efficiency in fish health and welfare and developing Azure-based data infrastructures, and Research Scientist at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), engaging in GPU upscaling applications. Muhammad also has experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at SINTEF Digital, a Petroleum Engineer at Petrostreamz AS, and a Research Fellow at the University of Bergen, alongside a leadership role as Research Manager at the National Engineering and Scientific Commission, Pakistan. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mathematical Modeling and Simulation from the University of Bergen and an MPhil in Mathematics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
