Moira Nir is a seasoned polymers expert with extensive experience in the materials science and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Polymers Expert at Solutum Technologies Ltd. since November 2021, Moira has held various significant roles at Tosaf Compounds, Ltd. since October 2010, including Program Manager and Director of R&D Projects, where responsibilities included managing R&D activities and leading consortia on plastics recycling. Moira also operates an independent consulting practice since 2006, offering expertise in polymers engineering, medical device applications, and patent-related services. Previous positions include Senior Researcher and IP Manager at Cima Nanotech, Senior Polymers Engineer at Degania Silicone, Ltd., and R&D Manager at StePac L.A. Ltd. Moira holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and multiple other advanced degrees, including an MBA and Registered Nurse Certification.
