Joseph Jackson has held a variety of positions in the software engineering and research fields since 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Software Developer at LightStanza and a Software Engineer at PointPredictive. During this time, they also held a Research Associate/Software Developer/IT position at Hoeffer Lab and a Research Associate/Software Developer/IT position at BURST Research Grant. In 2014, they became a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at BAE Systems and a Software Engineer at RXIT Software Solutions. In 2016, they held a Software Engineer position at Equilibrium Solar and a Research Associate/Software Developer position at Corell Lab. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at SOLUTE, where they have implemented tools for automated configuration assessment, designed and implemented platforms for remote application deployment and tech assessments, and provided infrastructure support for Spectral project. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Platform Architect at INTURN, where they are responsible for the performance, scalability, security, and stability of the company's infrastructure.

Joseph Jackson has studied Neuroscience at the University of Colorado and Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder.
