Karen Bobby currently serves as the Digital Innovation Officer at the Solomon Islands Electricity Authority since May 2023. Previous experience includes a role as an Assistant Lecturer at Solomon Islands National University, where responsibilities involved tutoring tourism diploma and certificate students from June 2019 to January 2020. Karen also worked as a Retail Support Associate at LIBERTY Holding, focusing on retail sales and marketing support from August 2018 to June 2019, and served as a Sanitarian Officer at Liberty Bulk, collaborating with the Sales and Marketing Team from February to July 2018. Additionally, a tenure as a Corporate Sales Executive at bmobile-vodafone involved handling business-to-business sales from June to October 2017. In 2016, an internship as a Community Liaison Officer with the Auckland Council supported community grant research in South Auckland. Academic qualifications include an Associate of Science in Information Science/Studies from Massey University and a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Victoria University of Wellington.
