Owen Cassidy is an experienced leader in outdoor education and recreation, currently serving as the Director at Acadia Leadership Institute since September 2014, where responsibilities include leadership facilitation, program recruitment, and challenge course management. Additionally, Owen has been a Wilderness First Aid and CPR Instructor for SOLO Wilderness Medical School since 2017 and a Registered Maine Guide for National Park Sea Kayak since 2014, leading ecological trips in Acadia National Park. Extensive supervisory experience encompasses roles at multiple ski resorts across the country and includes various positions in outdoor education, such as Course Director for Adventure Risk Challenge and Outdoor Education Teacher at Kieve/Wavus Education Inc. Owen holds a BS in Business Economics and Ski Industries from the University of Maine at Farmington and has completed wilderness education training through NOLS.
