Carey Payette has over 20 years of experience in software engineering. In 1999, they began their career as a Software Developer for the Ministry of Natural Resources (Ontario). In 2000, they held the role of Senior IT Architect at American Electric Power and Software Developer at Century Systems Technologies. In 2010, they were Vice President at Dog Food Conference. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Developer Advocate at Telerik, and from 2014 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Falafel Software. Since 2019, they have been a Partner in the Solliance Network.
Carey Payette holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, obtained between 1996 and 1999. Carey also holds several certifications, including a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and a Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, both obtained in May 2021. Additionally, they have seven Coursera Course Certificates, obtained in February 2017, related to Google Cloud Platform.
