Chrissy Glaister is a Senior Design Researcher at Premera Blue Cross, where they lead research efforts on the Premera mobile application. Chrissy has worked with UX Designers to develop recommendations based on research findings and facilitate communication and decision making with stakeholders. Chrissy has also provided mentoring and guidance for interns, including opportunities to moderate research sessions and get feedback.
Before joining Premera Blue Cross, Chrissy was a Usability Engineer at Product Creation Studio, responsible for all aspects of Usability Engineering for medical and non-medical products including user research, task analysis, use error analysis, user testing and all associated documentation, including documentation to support medical device regulatory submissions.
Chrissy is also a Board Director at Rebuilding Together Seattle. In this role, they are responsible for the strategic direction of the organization as well as oversight of its finances, fundraising, and programs.
Previously, Chrissy was a Senior Usability Engineer at Stratos Product Development, where they were responsible for all aspects of usability engineering for medical and non-medical products. Chrissy has also worked as a usability engineer at several other companies.
Chrissy Glaister has a Master's degree in Psychology: Human Factors from the University of Idaho. Chrissy also has an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University. In addition, they have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University. Chrissy also has a Certification from EPIC People in Maximizing Your Impact as a Change Agent.
