Fernando Barajas is an Advanced Microbiology Manager at Solena, where Fernando coordinates and standardizes methodologies for microorganism detection in soil. As the Chief Operating Officer, Fernando focuses on isolating and evaluating potential microorganisms for agricultural use at Solena. Prior to this, Fernando was a PAI Inspector at Applus Norcontrol, ensuring adherence to gas facility installation regulations. As an Assistant Research Scientist at CINVESTAV Unidad Irapuato, Fernando worked on lead-contaminated soil remediation. Fernando also gained experience in water treatment at ECOSYS III S.A. de C.V. Fernando holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Quality Management at Universidad del Valle de Atemajac.
