Aviv Shalgi is an experienced entrepreneur and business advisor. In 2014, they began speaking about entrepreneurship, innovation, and business development at various conferences, media outlets, and blogs. In 2015, they became a volunteer mentor for 10+ startups in the 8200 EISP accelerator. In 2016, they joined cignal.io as an Advisory Board Member. In 2018, they took on the roles of Chief Business Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Dormigo, a data-driven short-term rental hospitality brand. In 2021, they became a Startup Advisor at Loyal VC and an Advisory Board Member at Slice. In 2022, they joined The Veteran Fund as a Venture Partner and Startup Advisor and Doc-Knock as an Advisory Board Member. Aviv also serves as a Startup Mentor and Business Advisor for the Founder Institute, supporting chapters in Chicago, Miami, Seattle, Silicon Valley, and San Francisco.

Aviv Shalgi attended Tel Aviv University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Aviv then attended the Microsoft Ventures Academy in 2016, where they earned a Tapas MBA. In 2016, they also began attending The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Entrepreneurship and Finance in 2018.
