Benjamin Tan is an experienced engineer specializing in yield improvement and quality enhancement within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as Principal Yield Engineer at SOITEC since February 2019, Benjamin has held roles focused on RFSOI and FDSOI technologies, as well as the Refresh and Base Trap Rich products line. Previous positions include Senior Engineer at BISTel, where responsibilities encompassed pre-sales technical requirements and project management, and AOI and Process Integration Engineer II at Qualcomm, leading defect reduction projects and enhancing yield. Benjamin's career began as an AOI and Yield Enhancement Engineer at STATS ChipPAC Ltd. and also includes an industrial attachment at Abbott Nutrition. Benjamin holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
