Mathew Millay currently serves as the Manager of Government Relations at the Sydney Opera House since May 2022. Prior to this role, Mathew held several positions at the Australia Council for the Arts from July 2012 to May 2022, including Manager Corporate Planning, Strategy and Executive Officer, Executive Officer, and Division Administrator within the Arts Funding Division. Mathew's earlier experience includes working as Operations Manager at Smartphone Hub and as Sales Manager in Fashion & Apparel at David Jones. Mathew's educational background includes a Master of Creative and Cultural Industries Management from the University of Technology Sydney, a Master of Fine Arts in Cultural Leadership from the National Institute of Dramatic Art, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre & History from UNSW.
