Déborah Dourneau is a seasoned sound engineer with extensive experience in sound recording, editing, mixing, and restoration across various mediums, including classical music, jazz, animated films, corporate films, and both fiction and documentary cinema. Currently serving as a sound supervisor and engineer at the Sydney Opera House since September 2018, Déborah has contributed to the field since 2001, engaging in projects involving theatre, multimedia arts, and audio archives digitization at Gecko. Previous consultancy work at Mathys encompasses acoustical and audiovisual advice for notable venues, while formal education includes a Master's degree in Cinema with a specialization in sound from the Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle et des techniques de diffusion (INSAS) and a degree in Chemistry from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
