Syed Hamid is the founder and CEO of SOFY.AI. Syed has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering industry, including stints at Microsoft and Analysts International Corporation (AIC).

At Microsoft, Syed led a team of 45+ software engineers and principal engineering managers to deliver engineering system and services across USA, Russia, Denmark, and China. Syed was also responsible for defining and implementing Microsoft's wide quality assurance tools, practices, and processes as part of the Microsoft Test Leadership Team. In addition, Syed helped transition the Microsoft Dynamics ERP solution to the cloud as part of the Divisional Leadership Team. Syed also interviewed 150+ candidates yearly across the globe as part of the Microsoft International Recruitment team.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Syed worked as a software engineer at AIC. Syed was part of a team that designed and implemented Microsoft's Open Source initiative that enabled engineers across the company to effectively use open source code.

Syed Hamid has a Master of Science in Computer Systems from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
