Mittsy Valenzuela is a seasoned professional in compliance and ethics, currently serving as Gerente Regional de Integridad y Cumplimiento at Softys since November 2021 and previously holding the position of Regional Compliance Officer for LATAM. Valenzuela has extensive experience in compliance roles at Hayes&Corp, where responsibilities included Gerente de Compliance and Sub-Gerente de Compliance, as well as at Falabella as Abogada de Ética in the Corporate Legal Affairs area. Early career included positions at Walmart Chile, focusing on ethics and anti-corruption. Academic qualifications include degrees in compliance from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a diploma in corporate sustainability from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, and a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, complemented by studies in Chinese language at Beijing Language and Culture University.
