Ian Cartwright is an accomplished technical professional with over 25 years of experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Principal Technical Consultant at Softwire since April 2024, Ian previously held the role of Technical Director at Thoughtworks for 21 years, where responsibilities included consulting for over 60 organizations, advising delivery teams, and supporting sales. Prior experiences include roles as Lead Software Engineer at Reuters, Technical Architect at Tibco Finance and Technology Inc., Developer at Digital Equipment Corporation, and Developer at the Met Office. Ian Cartwright holds a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Kent.
