Janne Repo started their work experience as a Trainee at Nokia in 1993, where they worked until 1996. Janne then worked as an IT Consultant at Capgemini from 1996 to 1998. After that, Janne worked as a Solution Developer at ICL Data from 1998 to 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as a Solution Architect at WM-data, where they specialized in Microsoft technologies. Since 2005, Janne has been associated with Softability Oy, initially working as a Senior Software Architect and Team Lead until 2012. Janne then assumed the role of Manager of Mobile Cloud Business Unit and CTO until 2013. In the same year, they briefly served as a Competence Director before becoming the CEO of Softability Oy.

Janne Repo completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in IT from Helia from 1992 to 1995.
