Maanav Mehrotra is a software engineer at SoFi since July 2021, with prior experience as a research volunteer at Virginia Tech's Digital Libraries and Research Laboratory, focusing on summarizing legal depositions. In addition, Maanav served as a graduate teaching assistant for a statistics course, managing grading and student inquiries for a large class. Previous roles include a student assistant at the LINK Center for Advancing Industry Partnerships, analyzing intellectual property trends, and a project intern at BMC Software, where Maanav contributed to re-architecting IT service management products with machine learning enhancements. Maanav holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
