About Hollywood Park

Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25-acres of public parks and open space.

Home to the Los Angeles Chargers and Super Bowl LVI Champion Los Angeles Rams, SoFi Stadium is the host of world-renowned sporting events, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, College Football Playoff National Championship game 2023, WrestleMania 2023, World Cup 2026, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics in 2028. Adjacent to the stadium and under the same roof canopy is a 2.5-acre open-air plaza, American Airlines Plaza, and the 6,000-seat YouTube Theater. YouTube Theater is an intimate venue, making it the perfect place for concerts, comedy, awards shows, esports competitions, community gatherings, conferences and more.

Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Security, Venues and Events, this position will be involved with ensuring the daily safety and security of HWP Retail District, MU4 Commercial Building and surrounding Hollywood Park Campus spaces.

More Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To…

• Plans, directs, and manages the staff and operations of the Security department to provide security for day-to-day tasks in a manner which ensures the safety of the public and protection of assets.
• Monitors and evaluates the performance of proprietary and security guards to ensure all personnel are knowledgeable of Hollywood Park policies and procedures, as well as able to provide excellent customer service to campus visitors and staff.
• Ensure that all security staff are properly trained in emergency procedures and maintain an on-going training/retraining program in order to maintain a high level of competence.
•  Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of all security systems for the building.
• Proactively assist senior management in identifying and assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, risks, vulnerabilities and threats to Hollywood Park.
• Oversees the thorough investigation and reporting of all security-related incidents and ensure that all matters are duly communicated to management in a timely manner.
• Works in partnership with the Inglewood Police Department and other law enforcement agencies on matters of safety and security as they relate to Hollywood Park.
• Creates summaries, narratives and metrics to aid in decision-making and measure the effectiveness of security operations.

We’d Love to Hear From People With….

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Police Science, or Security Management. (An advanced degree is preferred.)
•  A minimum of ten years of experience in security, law enforcement, or related field
•  7+ years of management experience
•  Experience conducting investigations including criminal, human resources, and/or safety incidents.
• Possession of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Card a plus
• Authorized Service Provider of First Aid training preferred
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships among several groups and deliver the highest level of satisfaction.
• Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
• Ability to analyze problems, determine root causes, and identify and determine results-oriented solutions.
• Excellent organizational and time management ability.
• Must be knowledgeable and literate with computers and have sound experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, Incident Management Systems and surveillance equipment.
•  Must be able to work flexible schedules and perform operational duties in an emergency.
•  Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

 In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate’s education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
