Alireza Sedighi, Ph.D., serves as the Lead Data Scientist at Socure since April 2021, where expertise in identity verification and fraud detection is applied across a robust platform serving over 1,000 customers. Prior experience includes a role as Sr. Research Engineer at Henry Ford Health System, focusing on machine learning models for Alzheimer's disease risk assessment and user study analysis. Alireza's research background includes positions at Virginia Tech, where contributions were made in wearable device usability, ergonomic analysis at Ford Motor Company, and algorithm development for musculoskeletal systems. Alireza holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on biomechanics from Sharif University of Technology, along with extensive teaching and mentoring experience.
