Alan Drinkwater is an experienced facilities management professional currently serving as the Head of UK Property & Estates at SOCOTEC UK since April 2022. Prior to this role, Alan was the Head of Facilities Management at Drayton Manor Resort Limited from July 2021 to April 2022 and held the position of Regional Facilities Manager at Babcock from April 2015 to July 2021. Alan's career also includes a brief tenure as Facilities Manager Business Stream 1 at the UK Ministry of Defence in September 2009 and a long-term position as Group Leader at GKN Automotive from September 1990 to December 2008. Academic achievements include a BTEC ONC in Engineering from Telford College of Arts and Technology and prior education at Burton Borough School Newport.
