Lydia de Lange serves as the Head of Technology, Innovation and Systems at SocioTech South Africa, a role assumed in November 2023, contributing to community development initiatives that benefit over 100,000 households. Additionally, Lydia is the Executive Director of Deep Learning IndabaX South Africa since September 2023 and previously held the position of Install Team Lead at DataProphet from August 2022 to October 2023, focusing on AI readiness and process optimization in manufacturing. Prior experience includes working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Spatialedge (Pty) Ltd from March 2020 to August 2022. Lydia holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Stellenbosch University. Further educational experience includes studies at Zero To Mastery Academy.
