Sophia Mata is currently the Illio Business and Sales Manager at Illini Media, a position held since August 2024, and an Elite Member of the Society of Women in Business since September 2023. Active involvement includes membership in the American Advertising Federation at Illinois and the Philippine Student Association at UIUC, both starting in August 2022. Previous experience includes an Advertising Intern role at Illini Media from March to May 2023 and an Accounting Intern position at Rozovics Group, LLP from July to December 2021, where account reconciliation, management report creation, QuickBooks training, financial ratio analysis, and tax return preparation were undertaken. Sophia is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Advertising with minors in Business and Informatics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in May 2026, following a high school diploma from Maine South High School earned in 2022.
