Jake Bhakta is a Junior Geologist at TerraLogic Exploration Inc., engaged in prospecting, mapping, soil sampling, and reclamation across western Canada since May 2023. In addition, Jake serves as UM SEG President, organizing student-industry events centered around economic geology. As a Teaching Assistant at the University of Manitoba, responsibilities encompass courses in Geological Sciences. Previous experience includes a Junior Geologist role at TerraLogic Exploration Inc., where duties involved rock sampling and geological core logging, and an Exploration Geologist position at Sarn Helen Gold. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science in Exploration and Resource Geology from Cardiff University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science at the University of Manitoba. Leadership roles include student representation and involvement in the Earth Rugby and Earth Society at Cardiff University.
