Richard Fields

Richard Fields is the current Director at Society for Corporate Governance. Richard has extensive experience working with corporate boards of directors, C-suite executives, and in-house counsel on issues related to corporate governance and board leadership. Prior to their current position, Mr. Fields was a Partner at Russell Reynolds Associates, where they advised public companies on corporate governance issues. Before that, they were a Partner at King & Spalding, where they advised boards of directors and C-suite executives on corporate governance and board leadership issues. Mr. Fields has also worked as a senior associate and then a principal at Tapestry Networks, where they led corporate governance networks and projects. Richard is also the co-chair of the Shareholder-Director Exchange and a principal architect of the SDX Protocol.

Richard Fields has a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. from Clark University, both with honors. Richard is also SASB certified in FSA Credential Level II Candidate.
