Joran Cornelisse is a professional with extensive experience in data science and technology leadership. Currently serving as Tech Lead at SOCIALDATABASE since July 2018, Joran oversees the data science, product, and engineering teams, while previously holding the position of Lead Data Scientist, managing data science projects utilizing Python and PyTorch. Joran also has experience from JASP, where a thesis focused on unsupervised machine learning in psychological science was developed alongside co-developing a machine learning module. As a consultant at the Methodology Shop at the University of Amsterdam, Joran provided statistical advice to students. Joran holds multiple degrees from the University of Amsterdam, including a Master of Science in Data Science, a Master of Science in Behavioral Data Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
