Michael Cope is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. As the Founder and CEO of Cope Ventures since 1995, Michael actively invests in seed and early-stage companies, boasting a portfolio of 18 companies and multiple successful exits. Michael has also served as a Partner at Social Venture Partners Dallas since 2018, focusing on impact investing and mentoring for profit and non-profit organizations. Additionally, Michael has held mentorship roles in various accelerators, including The Capital Factory and Health Wildcatters, while also being a member of the SWAN Impact Investor Network. Earlier in their career, Michael founded and led Interphase Corp, a high technology firm specializing in OEM and infrastructure solutions. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
